The ancient holistic teachings of yoga combined with modern and relevant curriculum developed by clinical psychologist and yoga teacher, Dr. Melody Moore, the Embody Love Movement, offers powerful workshops for girls and women worldwide. Please visit www.embodylovemovement.org for more info about the organization.
As a facilitator for the nonprofit, Minta guides you through a 3 hour transformational workshop. Anyone 18+ who identifies as female is welcome to attend. The workshop takes participants on a journey toward self-acceptance. The goal is for women to set new intentions about how they feel, think, and speak to themselves and others. Participants are offered the opportunity to engage in process experiences in which they explore their internalized beliefs about beauty and self-worth and are given the tools to understand that these negative beliefs have a detrimental impact on their viewing themselves as purposeful and worthy.
Interactive experiences include:
- Dismantling the “beauty myth”
- Changing the conversation from criticism to kindness
- Embodied yoga experience
- Commiting to being kind to ourselves, and therefore each other

16-Hour Seminar Content
In this 16 credit hour course, you will learn to teach a Clubbell Yoga® Class in four different class formats: Awaken, Condition, Practice and Flow. This seminar is geared toward both yoga instructors as well as strength training professionals, as it merges the gap between strength training and yoga. There are several teaching modules in which you will learn the art of teaching and hone your teaching skills. The more you know from the Clubbell Yoga® DVDs and Manual before arriving, the more you will gain from this course. **We highly suggest using www.primal12.com to prep for this course, more info on that below.
About our Signature Method
A Clubbell Yoga® Flow Class begins with Joint Mobility Infused Vinyasa, then transitions to Clubbell Yoga® exercises with the patented Clubbell®. This mini-circuit of Clubbell exercises is what makes this style different from traditional yoga classes, we use timed intervals for that section of class. This mind body exercise is highly effective in improving fundamental movement patterns and strengthening the yoga poses.
To ensure safety and proper training, only 1/3 of the Clubbell Yoga® Flow class is focused on holding a Clubbell® during exercises or poses. All Clubbell Yoga flows have been crafted with sound biomechanics and transitions. Typically, a flow is first presented without a Clubbell® (this is known as the blueprint flow), and then represented subsequently with a Clubbell®. This cultivates a training response, making stronger stabilizers and core movers. By sophisticating the movement and transitions in Clubbell Yoga® flows, the practitioner is left feeling energized, strong, and very focused.
The final portion of Clubbell Yoga® class is left for deep stretching and savasana (dead body pose). This is the restorative element of class, and very critical. You will learn to cue these compensation poses effectively and modify for different levels of flexibility.
